What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Writing 49 books, all published by major US publishers and also in 62 foreign editions. I've consulted with and delivered communication programs for more than 1/3 of the Fortune 500.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Finding strong people, particularly great salespeople and great administrative support.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Make sure you have adequate capital to pay yourself and invest back in the business to grow.
  2. Hire people of integrity and who are self-motivated. You can teach skills, but you can't teach attitude or motivation.
  3. Deliver every job and product as if your future success depended on that current success and customer satisfaction.

Where can people find you and your business?
