What's your business, and who are your customers?
Bonjoro is a customer delight platform where we allow brands to send personal video emails to customers to welcome and engage with them and allow brands to gather video testimonials from their biggest advocates. We serve a wide range of customers, from eCommerce/creators to B2B SaaS.
Tell us about yourself
In a world of automation and AI, I believe human connection with our customers still has value. It's such an amazing feeling when you surprise a new customer with a heartfelt video letting them know you appreciate them, and they respond by saying they have never received anything like this. That really makes me excited to come in every day and help more brands do this.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
It's amazing that we now help tens of thousands of brands around the world build more meaningful relationships with customers. That's our biggest legacy.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
There are a lot of unexpected curveballs, from market conditions to an amazing employee moving on. You just have to keep adapting.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
I think there has never been a better time. The biggest thing is to forget to focus on scale and all the buzzy fads. Just do whatever it takes to create happy customers. Everything else works itself out if you have a powerful WoM growth engine.
