What's your business, and who are your customers?

We are a benefit corporation trying to change the beverage industry to be healthier and more sustainable. We invented the only self-carbonating powder in the world that can be mixed in a reusable water bottle with just cold filtered water. Our product is full of other all-natural ingredients that boost energy, immunity and reduce stress.

Tell us about yourself

I have been working in the beverage space for over five years but left the big beverage industry to do this company to try to make a difference in peoples' lives.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Taking a crazy concept and making it a reality. There was nothing like this product anywhere previously.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

The time commitment away from family.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Do your research and make sure you are doing a product or service where there is a need.
  2. Don't expect overnight success; challenges will be the norm.
  3. If your product/service is really needed, stay the course; good things will come.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

Remember that doing business is a calling and not just a way to make money. If you only focus on money, you might get it, but you will miss out on everything else that can come from growing a successful business, like helping others.
