What's your business, and who are your customers?

I am a Certified Health Coach helping people throughout the US who have weight loss and health goals to achieve.

Tell us about yourself

I started in pharmaceutical sales out of college. I quickly became interested and passionate about the health, wellness, nutrition, and fitness industry. Having my own business and helping others motivates me each day.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Helping over 1000 people transform their health and lives, as well as my becoming financially independent by doing what I love.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

One has to have a strong goal, a plan, and "stick-to-it-ness."

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Define your WHY: why a certain business and why seeking to be self-employed.
  2. Have a strong business plan outlining short-term and long-term goals and activities that will achieve those goals.
  3. Embrace obstacles as the way to learn and grow. Don't let a setback or "failure" cause you to quit.
