Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Paden Gallardo, Founder of Bloomingday, located in Texas, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

We serve health, wellness, and fitness brands and biotech with an online presence. Our campaigns start with telling the client's story and targeting their audience. Then propelling that story and everything else related to their "online presence" to the top of search engines, so they don't get missed ever again by their people.

Tell us about yourself

I just graduated last year and knew that I wanted a lifestyle change. Appreciate the college experience, but I want to never have limits on my life again, especially regarding time, location, and financial freedom. What motivates me daily is knowing the outcome and results are directly related to my input. I also love knowing that I am leading by example in influencing my family to change their own lives as well because I've known our potential as humans are endless.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I would say that it's being a business owner. Getting the courage to start the journey was probably the hardest step, and now I know that it's just figuring out each day with the current goal in mind. Other than knowing the values bloomingday will be shaped from is awesome; anyone apart of the team or a client I hope feels a part of another family who wants the best for each other. Not just another company created with the desire for money, obviously, we all need that to live, but I want it so that I can experience exactly what I want to in this life.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Knowing that business problems are personal problems. Anytime we have a problem that relies on a solution or at least spark from me and doesn't get dealt with, I can take a look at my own personal life and see that my emotions or problems were in the way.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. This journey is yours. Take advice and help any chance you can but apply in your own way, with your own creativity, and you will see way better results than just copying and pasting things.
  2. Take action. Consistent action is one of the best habits to create when starting/growing. Know the difference between actual action and, okay, I'm just watching a lot of YouTube right now.
  3. Dopamine. Get a decent understanding of it. Then try to understand how it relates to your motivation and can keep you achieving big things all the time. Not just relating your dopamine spikes to rewards and physical things money will bring.
