What's your business, and who are your customers?
My business is my website and my classes in general. It was created to share healthy habits, knowledge, self-awareness, movement, and intent. Tools to develop a resilience ability to co-create our present and manifest our future. Offering life and movement coaching, dance classes, Zumba, meditations, healing therapies sessions, and my Body Mind Spirit workouts and challenges that can fit into your daily lifestyle. All in one site.
Tell us about yourself
I am a Movement Coach, a proud Cuban-born girl with nothing more than passion, a big capacity for effort, a desire to help others, and a dream: Poner de Moda la Felicidad.
I created a community and a global movement called “Pongamos de Moda la Felicidad,” which means let’s make happiness our style. Its goal is to help people transform themselves and be happy using meaningful actions to create positive results.
I have been a Zumba ambassador, ZES, and International Presenter for more than 15 years. Group and Personal Trainer, Reiki and Theta healing Practitioner, Life and Movement Coach, Purium Brand Partner, Musician, Model, and my fav of all: a Mom of two amazing young ones.
I don't stop adding new tools to bring the best of me to this world. Every day I learn, grow from my mistakes, transform, and create... That is a constancy.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Combining all of me: my degree in Music (piano), Dance, Philosophy, Coaching, healing techniques, and Fitness with my Purpose as a Co-Creator. My goal is to make people feel how their bodies can manifest themselves, achieving better results and harmony by using the power of the intention through movement as a magical tool. Creating this powerful awakening, I'm building connectors all over the world.
Motivating others, I motivate myself and can be an example for my kids and the next generations. That gives me the power to find the most successful way during the journey.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Being a Cuban girl, who left her country without clues and many tools the rest of the world already took for granted, was the biggest challenge initially. Then, being a mom and a provider without losing life’s true meaning and passion on the way. Then, making a business without enough knowledge and economic resources. But I made it; I failed, and I started again and adapted to the new world circumstances. So, here I go, with my vision clear and my heart committed.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- You should have to be very clear about what you want. That's going to keep you focused and attract the right people and opportunities to you.
- You have to be open to learning from others and reprograming yourself as many times as it is necessary.
- Effort and constancy boost your motivation and make things happen.
