What's your business, and who are your customers?

Transformational coaching. For the past 25 years, I have been teaching people to lead with their intelligent hearts and brilliant minds! As a transformational certified professional coach, I support folks to confidently access their personal power with grace using impactful methods to reclaim their passion and to make deeper meaning of their lives.

My clients walk away, understanding their deeper purpose with clarity and how to embody their choices. They are able to embrace their visions with grace and courage, find the frameworks to do so, and leave a legacy for future generations.

Tell us about yourself

I currently reside in a charming mountain town in Southern British Columbia, where my five adult children come to frolic in all four seasons! I love nature and am so grateful that I am able to surround myself with it.

My background began in social services, where I worked in leadership and on the frontlines within the crisis-based sector. I supported hundreds of people to step out of fear and into their own power. Although I loved my job, I knew it had a shelf life. Empowering people was my jam, so I knew the next step in my career needed to be coaching. Over the past 15 years, I have been immersing myself in education and hands-on experiences. As a professional coach, my primary motivation is to expand my learning so that I can support my clients. This is what lights me up!

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is being a witness to people's growth while providing for myself and my family. I am beyond thrilled that I get to do what I want out of the comfort of my home within my own timeframe.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

One of the hardest things about running a business is doing it all on my own - lone wolfing isn't sustainable.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Get support.
  2. Get clear on what you need and set boundaries so you can accomplish them.
  3. Keep educating yourself; always stay two steps ahead of the people you serve - grow with your clientele.
