What's your business, and who are your customers?

I have an online boutique selling worldwide fashion trends of clothing and accessories.

Tell us about yourself

I opened my business back in 2013 after I finished my Master's Degree in Fashion Merchandising in San Francisco, CA. My major goal is to make women smile and feel comfortable in their own skin by wearing fashionable outfits and increasing self-love and self-esteem.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is to expand worldwide and open different retail stores in Mexico and in the US.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Investment and re-investment. Right now, with the worldwide financial situation, prices have increased so much, and since my country is going through a difficult time, it's hard because prices have gone up so much. Still, I always try to provide the best prices with good quality clothing.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Dare to dream and dream big. If you dream, then you will be able to land your biggest ideas and make them happen.
  2. Always believe in yourself and plan objectives. Force yourself daily to become a better version of yourself and always have discipline.
  3. Never stop working, and by this, I mean always and daily do something related to your business, and when you least expect it, you will already be halfway there to reaching your goals.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

As a businesswoman and owner, sometimes it might get hard and bumpy, but those are the days you must keep going. Don't give up; give yourself your 5-minute break and then get back on the game; you are your only limit.
