What's your business, and who are your customers?

I am a corporate executive passionate about mentoring and coaching young professionals in achieving their goals and aspirations. I also work as a corporate advisor with CEOs in strategizing corporate structure and global growth.

Tell us about yourself

I am a corporate executive who brings international business acumen and the ability to perform as a cross-functional strategist to all teams. Born in Singapore and formally educated with a Master of Business Administration major in leadership, my multilingual background assists me in facilitating multi-channel distribution strategies that benefit both corporate and sales teams globally. I enjoy working directly with the sales field to develop winning strategies has resulted in many individuals achieving success, both professionally and personally.

As a public figure and inspirational speaker, I can resonate with individuals from all walks of life due to my personable character. Thus, I garner a large follower base worldwide.

​I currently serve as the Chief Operating Officer of a Multi-Million Dollar Personal Development Company based in Dubai, UAE. I speak at various Leadership Platforms. In my eventful career spanning two decades, I have built, restored, and expanded businesses with some of the fastest-growing, billion-dollar companies. My strength lies in the fact that I am a people representative. Due to my efficacious personality, I can bring out the best in my colleagues and teams.  My strategy is to let people put ideas on the table and share that knowledge efficiently.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Self-Satisfaction plays a vital role in my life, especially in my career as an entrepreneur. Balancing physical and emotional issues can lead us to achieve even higher levels of self-satisfaction. Without it, there is no meaning to the work I do.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

We can get rather lonely being an entrepreneur. We are always the first at work and last to leave, we carry the heaviest of burdens, and we even carry the weight of all employees. The responsibilities are high; sometimes, we are the only ones around willing to listen to our own issues and challenges. Over time, we learn through our mistakes and growth along with the business.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Have absolute clarity on what you want to achieve; without it, you will run in circles.
  2. Being ready to make many sacrifices for endless work hours. Are you sure you are ready?
  3. Try to have a work-life balance, or you will never reach the level of self-satisfaction if you do not spend enough time balancing your life. Too much work or fun is not healthy for an entrepreneur.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

The Key to Success starts with Ambition, it takes persistence to get you there and consistency to keep you there. It is never a sprint but rather a long strenuous marathon. It would be best if you were mentally and physically ready for the challenge of your lifetime.
