What's your business, and who are your customers?
We are a gourmet bakery that specializes in gourmet half-pound cookies, extreme brownies, French pastries, and artisan bread. We are a full-service bakery and pride ourselves on the high-quality ingredients we use and our customer service. Everything is made from scratch and baked fresh to deliver the finest baked goods possible.
Tell us about yourself
I started baking at a very young age, and cooking and baking is my passion. I attended the French Pastry School in Chicago as well as Valencia College in Orlando. The science behind creating delicious baked goods motivates me to think out of the box to create delicious items for my customers to enjoy. I only source the finest ingredients Our chocolate come from Belgium; our butter is only the finest European butter which gives our baked good their rich and delicious flavors. I tend to think out of the box when it comes to flavor profiles and love to offer my guest a unique and delightful experience when they indulge in my products.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
One of my accomplishments is to me is having my customers fall in love with my deliciousness and keep coming back for more. Seeing the delight on my customer's faces means more to me than anything that my business offers me personally.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Staying current and knowing your market. I feel when in business, you need to focus on what you are good at and stick with it. There will be hurdles you have to jump over but never give up; if it is truly your dream to own a successful business, go for it; all the hard work will pay off.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Have a plan for us on your business offerings, know you can be everything to everyone, and never give up; if your new business is your passion, jump in and go for it.
