What's your business, and who are your customers?
My business is a unique live stream platform that presents trading plans to teach people how to trade and discuss ideas about the US stock market in Arabic. My customers speak Arabic and want to start their trading journey in the US stock market.
Tell us about yourself
My relationship with the stock market began in my 20s when I was trying to learn how to become financially independent and create a new source of income for myself. I started teaching myself the ropes of the market and how to trade throughout those years. I was able to generate consistent income on the side of my job. I began starting my business for the same reason that motivates me to do what I am currently doing: to help people achieve that consistent side income I could find and simplify the process.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment as a business owner was seeing the value in what I was teaching my customers to turn into a valuable skill that can generate income and watching my customers become successful traders.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
One of the hardest things I experienced as a business owner was trying to simplify the complicated aspect of my service and present it in a way that would be easy to understand for everyone looking to join without experience.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- There is a cost to success, so be cautious about making sacrifices.
- Be consistent in the amount of work you have to put in for your business, no matter how big or small.
- Listen to your customers to understand how to provide a better service.
