What's your business, and who are your customers?
We are a boutique hair salon that specializes in Bridal hair and makeup! We strive to bring high-quality services with the best customer service and personalized experiences. We want you to feel at home in the salon and like best friends when we pamper you! We are two best friends who built the company from the ground up together. We want to change the bridal beauty game by making it a priority that each bride we have feels amazing and cared for from the time they book with us all the way to the big day!
Tell us about yourself
We are two best friends who have been working together in the beauty industry for 12 years. We have five kids between the two of us that motivate us every day to not only work hard but love the reason we are doing it! We both have had a passion for hair and makeup since we were as young as four. This company is our baby, and we put our everything into standing out from the rest and bringing the best services we can!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment as a business owner was opening our brick-and-mortar location together. We also love all smiles we get from our brides after they see how beautiful they look on the big day. It never gets old!
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
With all the fulfillment and joy this business has brought us, there have definitely been plenty of tears along the way. We hold our communication with our clients very highly. This means answering calls, texts, and emails 24/7. It can get to be a lot, but we wouldn’t have it any other way!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
If you are looking to start or grow a business, make sure you have an amazing support system. It definitely takes a village, even if it’s just to vent or decompress with someone. The people to help watch your kiddos are the true rockstars as well!!
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
Owning your own business is the most rewarding and exhausting adventure I have been on. And with all the lows that do some with it, I have never once regretted it, ever! Keep pushing and believing it’s possible! Hard work always pays off, and you will feel so fulfilled at the end of the day.
