What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am a Business Strategist who takes businesses from CHAOS to CASHFLOW! I especially like the small businesses that want to hit that Million Dollar Mark. Surprisingly, very few small businesses do over $1,000,000 in revenue in a year.
I am also an author with two published books, "Labor to Leadership: My Journey from Pit Digger to CEO", and "The Business Treasure Hunter: Ten Areas For Fast Exponential Growth."
Tell us about yourself
Homeless from 17-20, had drug addicts for parents, lost 2 brothers to suicide, and quit school in 10th grade; 7 words gave me my first mindset shift from Reactive to Proactive at 20 years old, and since then, I have built 3 businesses that generated over 60-million dollars per year for over ten years.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Sold the last business for $35,000,000 ( I was a 10% equity share owner), that was in 2020.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Not knowing what you don't know - that is why everyone needs a coach to expose our blind spots.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Know that there are 12 Principles of Business, and you will need all of them to succeed.
- Be prepared to sacrifice EVERYTHING - many times over before you find long-term success, and even THAT is not guaranteed!
- Have a good business coach, life partner, and friends who support you and are going in the same direction as you are (hint: probably no one you know today fits that description). Be ready to lose them ALL.
