What's your business, and who are your customers?

ArtDog Studio is about selling original art, art prints, and merchandise. My customers range from ages 16-65.

Tell us about yourself

I have been an Artist for over 20 years in Toronto, Canada. I always like to draw cartoons and illustrate. I wanted to use my art, adding humor and commerce.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Made a small amount of money so far, and I am surviving the business so far.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Managing, finding, and organizing finances, as well as being authentic in the message to continue to find customers.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Take it slow.
  2. Do your research for your business.
  3. Learn the management of finances.
