Hey, I'm Sabela García Cuesta and I run Art District CBD out of Hamburg, Germany.

Tell us all about your business...

Our Vacay Vibes CBD oils are for anyone who wants to stress less, chill more and achieve a better mind-body balance by living a vacation state of mind.

What's your background and motivation to get into the solopreneur life?

I've always had a curious and restless mind.

My first real jobs were at startups, first in Beijing, then in Hamburg... I get energized and inspired by meeting other entrepreneurs who want to build a world that works for them.

It hasn't been an easy path so far but I have learned a lot and have met incredible people.

What motivates me every day is to feel the reward of doing something for myself and be myself with people who share 100% of my values.

As an entrepreneur, what does success ultimately mean to you?

It's all about Freedom. Time over money is definitely what it's all about!

What are the top 3 tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run or grow a business today?

There are many kinds of entrepreneurs. I am the chill one.

1. Learn, learn, learn, then apply (and take your time doing it, there's no need to rush it)

2. Surround yourself with people like you or the kind of people that you want to become

3. Make your own mistakes (and be ready to make a bunch of them!)

What's your strategy to maintain a healthy work-life balance and to keep it all together as a solopreneur?

Sometimes I just do nothing. This helps to take perspective, relax, and enjoy the moment...and then I get to work.

Who are some of your favorite entrepreneurs and why?

The entrepreneurs I admire the most are the ones with less fame.

I really admire my flatmates, two women founders of Terrorist of Beauty, a cosmetics brand in Germany. I've watched them working really hard day and night for over a year to build what they have today.

They did not need to show off, attend networking events or go to pitch events... they have just nailed a winning business!

For anyone looking to start a business today. what would be the number one bit of advice you'd give them?

Find the right people to start it with. Not necessarily as a co-founder, but as a team of people to support you.

Where can people find you online?

You can find my website at Art District CBD

I'm also on Instagram and Twitter so give me a shout on there!
