What's your business, and who are your customers?

"A person's beauty is a treasure and must be cherished to the fullest" This is the foundation of Arganissima New York, a New Jersey-based company established in 2016 with the mission to provide women and men a variety of authentic, pure argan organic and natural products that make their skin and hair feel healthy, young, sleek and gorgeous.

Tell us about yourself

I grew up in Morocco, a mystical and exotic charming land with many treasures unique to this exquisite destination. I was fortunate enough to have been exposed to the miracle liquid native to this spot and region on earth that cannot be found anywhere else in the world. A product of a beautiful tree that grows in the southwest "Sous Valley" and desert regions of the country.

As a little girl, I grew up using this oil for both culinary and cosmetic purposes, which has kept both her skin and hair growing healthy. Often, people complimented, even stopped, and asked me about my secret formula for beautiful hair and skin.

I believe that everyone deserves to have clear and beautiful skin as well as gorgeous, strong, healthy hair, and I wanted to share the formula with the world, so Arganissima New York was born.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My most significant accomplishment as a business owner is the ability to do what I love daily and enjoy every minute of it, knowing that I am helping people be their best and sharing the natural beauty my products offer.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

There are many challenges that come with any business, getting the products from the source, quality, pricing, etc., but the hardest one I believe is building brand recognition and customer trust; it is the most tasking and the thing that takes the longest.

There are many choices and options in the marketplace, competition is fierce and making a real impact as a product line with people is hard, especially as I want Arganissima New York to become the go-to line for Argan Based products.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Believe in your dream and mission: Every success story begins with a dream but making a dream come true is hard work and takes a lot of planning and doing. Stay true to your mission and never give up.
  2. Focus, Consistency, and Patience: Any business person would agree that being in business or starting one is very hard and comes with challenges and hurdles; my advice is to stay focused, determined, and patient along the way, be very consistent, and keep going no matter what the world throws at you.
  3. Customer Service and Experience: No business exists without customers or clients; they are the number one priority in all decisions making as you design products and services, pricing, and potency; whatever the nature of your business, Keep the customers as the number one, service them with the best and offer them the right experience, the rest is history.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

Arganissima New York was only the beginning, but the Saga continues; my mission is not only to help people be beautiful but also healthy; that is why I launched Sam The Fit and The Fab, a fitness brand to assist women all over the world access fun and effective training classes. I simply want every woman to be beautiful inside and out.
