What's your business, and who are your customers?
I'm a photographer who does portraits, weddings, events, photo booths, and more!
Tell us about yourself
I've always had an interest in photography since I was a teen. My neighborhood friend used to always bring his camera around when we used to hang out. But I never thought I would pursue it. Later on in life, another friend of mine bought a camera to do music videos with. But it was in my possession the entire time. So I just started learning all the technical stuff little by little.
What motivates me is seeing the client's reactions whenever they see their photos. Seeing them excited and happy makes me happy.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment is really providing an extra source of income for my family.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
One of the hardest things about being a business owner is feeling like you can do more. No matter what I've accomplished, I always feel like I can do better and do more. I guess you can say the plus and the minus.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Never give up. Keep pushing no matter how hard it is or how slow things can be in the beginning.
- Track your progress when it comes to anything.
- Always look for ways to improve.
