What's your business, and who are your customers?
We are a bakery and box lunch company. Our customers are businesses that need corporate catering and local customers stopping in for goodies.
Tell us about yourself
I love baking and cooking; it has been a passion of mine since I was very young. I am motivated to serve the community and provide delicious goodies for my customers.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Surviving through COVID, making a profit with all the supply price increases.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
It is difficult to find committed staff that wants to work.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
When opening a restaurant:
- Know what is required by the health department and city prior to signing a lease.
- Be consistent in keeping the same business hours.
- Make sure you are a good salesperson. Just because you’re a good cook doesn’t mean you’re a good business person.
