What's your business, and who are your customers?
Analyze My Work is a one-stop shop for small business owners and executives. We offer virtual assistance services in the areas of administrative services, social media management, bookkeeping, and editing. Our goal is to eliminate burnout for top executives and business owners, so they have the capacity and resources to further develop themselves and their businesses.
Tell us about yourself
My name is Candace M. Gwynn, and I am the owner of Analyze My Work. I have over 15 years of experience working in Corporate America. During that time, I've seen overworked managers, high turnover of employees, low morale of departments, and newbies that are hired and then forced to sink or swim! Analyze My Work was created to be a solution. Sometimes, there are simply not enough hours in a day or a week! We strive to strengthen the work week and be an added limb. That is what motivates me daily! I want everyone to feel motivated and empowered! Feeling burnout or overwhelmed is simply not a conducive work environment!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment is actually being a business owner! The mindset and tenacity that are required to set out on the entrepreneurial journey are not easy! There is a non-stop grind behind the scenes that many are not privy to. The learning curves are endless! The need to evolve constantly is always present. Learning to be authentically you and know that you are enough is what matters most!
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Not quitting! There is always someone doing more than you! Better than you! Faster than you! You have to stay focused on what YOU can do! You have to know that you will get there too! Everyone has their time! Always be in preparation mode. That way, you will always be ready when an opportunity arrives!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Simply...BELIEVE IT, RESEARCH IT, and IMPLEMENT IT! If you can think about it, you can achieve it! I know that sounds cliche, but it's really true! We are all unique individuals with unique skills and abilities. Even if someone has the exact same idea as you, it will not operate the same as yours because they are not YOU!
