What's your business, and who are your customers?

We are the first Designer Lab Grown Diamond Jewelry brand in the world. Thanks to technology, our diamonds are 40% less expensive than traditional diamonds. They are exactly the same as a mined diamond but grown in a laboratory, without the environmental impact.

Our customers are primarily women who buy jewelry for themselves. Women who work hard in their everyday life and want to reward themselves with something precious and beautiful that symbolizes all of their hustle.

Tell us about yourself

I am a creative person at heart but was raised by an engineer. That resulted in me being able to understand processes relatively well and at the same time come up with very interesting ideas/solutions.

Some time ago, I was very passionate about the idea of taking a product and developing it to its fullest and was looking for a product to turn it into the best there is. During that same time, my sister Analucia had started developing her own jewelry designs and was making key partnerships to make the company a reality. We casually began going back and forth over zoom, talking about the brand and what had to be made. We then realized we made a great team and loved working together, so we partnered up and brought the brand to life.

What drives me every day is that we have a calling/mission to make lab-grown diamonds the new normal, the preferred option. We have to accelerate this transition from mined to lab-grown. Because of our unique characteristics as a brand, we are able to make this brand totally stand out from the rest. We are on our way to becoming the leaders in this industry transition to a more sustainable product.

The idea of drafting something, bringing it to reality, and polishing it to make it truly amazing and valuable to the world is the coolest thing there is to me. I am obsessed with always improving everything we are doing and making it better than the best this world has yet seen. I want to establish a new gold standard of what a brand must be, always striving to be better than the best.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Thus far, having established a brand’s identity is helping open many doors and getting noticed by some of the jewelry industry’s biggest names.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Having to wear many hats and having to learn to know and control your emotions.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Strive for perfection, but always take action.
  2. When something fails, take the lesson, correct it, and keep going.
  3. Take action and start, you won’t have, and you don’t need all the answers at the beginning.
