What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am the founder of LAFstyle, LLC and the Audaciously Authentic Movement. I am a passionate Keynote speaker, creativity activator, coach, and mentor, transforming lives and activating humans to connect with their positive impact in the world, honoring their life’s purpose. My method helps creative intrapreneurs who want to advance in their job, get to know themselves, reactivate their creativity, and have time for themselves and their families. Leading from silence, letting go of frustration, demoralization, and disconnection. In order to do what they are passionate about, feeling fulfilled and happy.
Tell us about yourself
I have a vision of awakening humanity & spreading happiness in the world while re-activating their creativity. I have been on this path for as long as I can remember. Going through eating disorders, stress, anxiety, depression, and corporate bullying, it was challenging to connect with my creativity and move on in life. I have learned that we have to challenge ourselves to be audaciously authentic to do more of what makes us happy and have more of what we truly want.
I am focused on inspiring others to worry less and live more. To connect with their creativity and their passions while inspiring others in the process and thus leaving a legacy. The moment is NOW.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Being able to stay connected to my mission and vision no matter the challenges that have come my way. Trusting the process and the timing and, at the same time, being able to help and impact thousands of people's lives throughout the years.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Quieting the outside noise. Many times as business owners, we are faced with other people's beliefs and opinions that add to limiting beliefs that we as humans might have. Staying true to who you are as a business owner is challenging yet extremely rewarding in the end.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Be audaciously authentic in everything you do. There is only one YOU in this world - make sure to get your ideas heard.
- Have clarity in your WHY - what are you truly passionate about. Be intentional about your every move, and GO FOR IT.
- Consistency is KEY to accomplishing whatever goal you set your mind to when starting/running a business.
