What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am a Certified Life Coach that specializes in Narcissistic Abuse Recovery. I help victims take back their life and their power so they can understand the abuse and how it has affected their lives. Regaining their independence and the person they were supposed to be!
As a life coach in general, my website, social media, and new YouTube channel are dedicated to different areas so everyone can enjoy it! There are recipes, food ideas, crafts and DIY, hobbies, and interests to explore and share!
A little real-life never hurt anybody! A judgment-free space for people who enjoy being happy and enjoying their life, even if it's 5 minutes at a time!
Tell us about yourself
I am 43 and started my business in March 2019. Narcissistic Abuse was not well known and even more difficult to explain. Being a lifelong victim who recovered, I started the business to help other victims discover this type of abuse and learn how to take their lives back!
Power, control, and manipulation are difficult issues when it involves your parents, spouse, children, co-workers, boss, etc. These overlapping relationships may cause confusion when you are caught in the middle, and having someone help clarify and sort the steps out may make it easier to discover what you need to do to leave and become the person you were meant to be!
Many people don't understand this kind of abuse, and I spend my days raising awareness for all victims!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
As of today, you can't go a week without hearing or seeing the words narcissist, toxic, NPD, emotional abuse, financial abuse, and domestic violence. When I started my business, this was not the case. When I discovered what this abuse was, there was no such thing as help for Narcissistic Abuse, and I researched Adult Bullying, which was the closest description to what I was going through that I could find.
I have a business website I built with no money by myself. I used social media and am now comfortable enough that I just started a YouTube channel! Starting a business when you're one person is hard enough, but doing it with little or no money is my BIGGEST accomplishment so far!! (especially if you understand Narcissistic Abuse).
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
One of the hardest things that comes with being a business is doing everything yourself! A lot of people don't realize how many skills and little jobs you need or have to run a business! Not everyone has an education or experience in their business, so every skill should be given its proper credit!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- PLAN WELL - Especially when there's money involved like loans or other people and their money! Make sure you plan every dollar well and allow for emergencies and exceptions. Better to overestimate than to not have enough! There are many ways to advertise for free, so you can spend that allotted money somewhere more important!
- Separate your start-up costs and everyday expenses to keep your business running long-term. Spending money to make it look pretty and get customers in the door wears off. You need customers and business that will keep coming back for years! Building customer loyalty is better than jumping on the new trend to make quick money!
- KNOW YOUR BUSINESS! - KNOW YOUR CUSTOMERS! If you love what you do and are sharing something you care about, you're not "selling." If you're sharing what you love, and people need the service or information, they will want someone passionate and dedicated if they have a question or need help. People will remember a tip you gave them, and then they will remember your business! You don't even have to pay for advertising, and since you weren't a pushy salesperson, they might even tell all their friends, and now you have word-of-mouth personal referrals for free!

I love helping people and finding ways to encourage them to explore new ideas for themselves! One of the BEST Experiences is when YOU realize that a narcissist has NO POWER over you, and you can ENJOY the NEW person and life you're creating!
