What's your business, and who are your customers?

Amy Schadt Coaching empowers women in their life, business, and relationships by holding monthly free live events for The Heart Centered Woman, live workshops to support women in their lives, and the Radical Embodiment Membership that holds four live classes a month for women wanting more connection, success, and self-acceptance. Our mission is to support women in creating successful and meaningful lives and relationships.

Tell us about yourself

I am a women's empowerment coach and speaker who reconnects women with their passions, helps them break free from the stories that are keeping them stuck, and awakens their confidence so they can live an unstoppable life. I began my career as a dance educator and artist, spending two decades performing professionally and educating dancers. But after the sudden and untimely death of my fiancé in 2011, I had to reach deep to rekindle my sense of meaning in life.

With over 20 years of experience in education, my ability to help others connect to the source of their motivation comes from my own well-earned experience with life's ups and downs. I am the creator of the Radical Embodiment Method and have a membership for women, where I teach my signature 4-step process of Reflect, Release, Re-Envision, and Radical Embodiment to reconnect women with their passions and inner wisdom so they can get unstuck, reclaim their personal power, and live an embodied happy life.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment is that I built a business by co-creating and nurturing relationships with other experts in my field, satisfying my value of having connected relationships. The days of competitors are gone; it is now about co-creating.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

One of the challenges of being an entrepreneur is being vulnerable enough to share your story so others can see hope and the possibility for growth in your story. Also, reframing my money story so I am able to monetize and create wealth. Until we clear up those misunderstandings, we will most likely struggle financially in our business.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Three pieces of advice I would offer are to find a mentor or coach to support your entrepreneurial journey, next co-create with others to build your business, and finally, keep working on your mindset and clearing the beliefs that are getting in the way of your success. I also encourage fun and creativity throughout your journey.
