What's your business, and who are your customers?
My business is the healing arts. With my Master's in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, along with a plethora of other training in the healing arts (QI Gong, ThetaHealing, Reiki, Meditation), I am able to design a tailored healing and wellness plan for each individual patient that comes to me. There is not one issue I cannot help with.
Tell us about yourself
I have had my own healing journey ever since I was born (born a healer is what my parents say). The reason I am walking today is because of prayer, which is a form of meditation. When I graduated with my Master's in Acupuncture, I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and was able to heal myself naturally with my tools just getting out of school. My life has been a journey of training and experiences so that I can best be of service to others on their healing journey.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment is every time I hear a patient tell me I have helped them so much, or that one hour with me was more valuable than ten years of counseling, or that I am the first one to talk to them with so much knowledge and truth that they can relate to.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
The hardest are organization, money, marketing, and computer work. I am a very talented creative and healer but not designed to do business!!!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Don't give up.
- Love and enjoy everything you do.
- Know your why.
