What's your business, and who are your customers?
I welcome all types of love, from self-love for a boudoir photoshoot to love for your partner through wedding photographs. All of my photoshoots are unique to each individual and who they are.
Tell us about yourself
I began photography at the age of 15, and within that same year, I photographed my very first wedding! Since then, I haven't put my camera down; it comes with me everywhere. I took photos during high school, and once I was done, I went full-time in my business! I attended university and am now a certified professional photographer. I have won multiple awards, along with being published in magazines six times. My clients motivate me every day, and I am always striving to offer an even better experience along with art that tells your story.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is going full-time at the age of 19 and becoming a six-figure business within the same year.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Finding time for yourself is one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner. I find myself constantly wanting to work on my business and being there for clients that I don't take any time for myself.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Make sure you're passionate about your business; it will thrive if you are.
- Set yourself a schedule and only work within it. You deserve time to yourself and with friends/family members.
- Most importantly, don't give up.
