What's your business, and who are your customers?
Alchemy of spirit with Annamaria Love is a safe space to heal, nurture & transform in mind, body & spirit as they are all connected. We offer an array of healing modalities...One-on-one holistic nutritional consults, holistic cancer coaching, spiritual mentoring for women, intuitive energy & shamanic healing, embodiment practices, rife frequency therapy, breathwork, sound frequencies, tapping, meditation & yoga.
We also offer group healing circles, drum circles, cacao ceremonies, and other workshops. Our clients are from all walks and stages of life, and I truly love being able to witness people heal themselves and step into the highest version of who they are.
Tell us about yourself
As a kid, I wondered what the purpose of life was. I felt detached, misunderstood… like I didn’t fit in. At a young age, I discovered my connection with the Spirit & Energetic World. Not fully understanding this connection led to mental health issues. In my early twenties (mid 90’s), I suffered from severe anxiety and panic attacks. They were so bad that I didn’t leave my house for a year and wound up in and out of the hospital, even attempting suicide. I went on a mission to heal myself and take control of my life.
I changed on a deep level and embarked on a spiritual path to becoming whole again. It took all my strength to sail through the roughest of the tides, but I made it. I became present and connected & living a more conscious, aware life free of anxiety. Yoga and meditation were the main contributors to my healing.
Later in life, I experienced infertility issues, a couple of miscarriages & an abusive failed marriage. In June 2015, I was given the diagnosis with Stage 3 Colon Cancer. I had surgery to remove a large tumor and then was told I needed to do chemotherapy as it had spread into my lymph nodes. I made the decision to decline chemo and went the route of integrative medicine. Living a holistic lifestyle for many years, I never even took a Tylenol. Intuitively, it didn’t feel right for me and my body to undergo chemo. Doctors thought I was crazy, saying I had a 60% chance of survival with chemo. They said I wouldn’t survive without it.
Today I stand strong and in remission, and happy to say I proved the doctors wrong. I have always had a deep calling to serve & elevate humanity in some way & my life has guided me to fulfill that passion. For most of my life, I have immersed myself in meditation, yoga, and spiritual & personal growth, and I remain in constant learning. Holistic healing has been a big part of my path in one form or another, and I am committed to continuously learning how Alternative Medicine, Alchemy & the principles of quantum physics truly heal the mind, body & spirit.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I would say starting my business from scratch using my computer & phone with very little money and without any outside help. I worked hard, I took the initiative and learned as I went along, and I motivated & showed up for myself every day.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Creating & running a business that is soul-aligned without getting caught up in thriving in the matrix and sacrificing my values or who I am.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Be authentic and honest.
- Trust your path and be open.
- Make time to heal, rest & play so that you can show up for yourself and your business in the most optimal way.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
The world needs open-hearted, soul-aligned people to fearlessly step into their sovereignty & power, speak their truth, shine their light and be the best version of themselves. Remember, you are in control of who you become. We need more small businesses creating meaningful jobs, building relationships, and supporting the community rather than the big corporations dominating the world.
