What's your business, and who are your customers?

I am an Executive Life Coach Business Consultant with Alaska Tracy. Also a Speaker and Author of Eddie's Journey and Vision Mapping by Alaska Tracy. I work with therapists and wellness coaches seeking to simplify and accelerate their businesses and life.

25 years in Alaska has provided multiple opportunities, including a sales and marketing career and the creation of 3 successful businesses. The first business was founded in 2001, and I learned the power of a business plan. That gave life to my Vision Mapping Framework. The Framework is created for people like me in business who feel overwhelmed and desire a profitable, fulfilled business serving others. God, meditation, mentors, spiritual advisors, coaches, sobriety, systems, discipline, and taking massive actions have been the key to my success! The Vision Mapping Framework is the beginning of breaking goals into small, realistic actions that lead to more confidence, control, freedom, and growth.

Tell us about yourself

I became an entrepreneur 22 years ago, looking for a lifestyle of freedom. This was 2 years after getting sober and beginning my spiritual journey. Each day, I ask God to direct me to where I can be of service, whether mentoring others or coaching/consulting. The biggest, shiniest thing in my life besides my super amazing life is witnessing another's transformation and growth. I feel honored to get to do this work.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Taking the first leap of faith as a single gal with a mortgage, leaving a high-paying career to start a business on a 2nd mortgage loan, and being successful with that business.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Focus, clarity, and mindset.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Work with someone to develop a clear plan. That plan will give you the details of what is involved in having your dream business. This will be your foundation and realistic numbers and market research. Without this, you are living on a prayer. I have done both ways. A plan simplifies and allows you to meet and exceed your desires more quicker.
