What's your business, and who are your customers?
AiSport is a motion tracking and correction platform for fitness businesses. We recognize mistakes during workouts and give real-time recommendations through computer vision. All you need is a mobile phone or a laptop. We have a platform with the technology for fitness trainers where they can run their online business, and also we integrate the technology into fitness enterprises. Our goal is to change the online fitness industry in the world and give everyone a better training experience and, most importantly, protect people from injuries.
Tell us about yourself
I am a passionate athlete with more than 22 years in the sports industry. That is why for me, sports is a philosophy of life. I was doing rhythm gymnastics, and after a serious injury because of professional sports, I wanted to become a trainer to help others avoid injuries during workouts. At the same time, my career was in the marketing industry and as a professional fitness trainer. It might sound strange, but these two industries led me to AiSport. I wanted to scale the ability to correct mistakes during workouts. Since the pandemic, the solution has been in online and AI-based technology.
My biggest motivation is encouraging people to be physically active and do it safely and effectively. By nature, I am an innovator, so AiSport is all about technologies that are advancing the online sports and fitness industry. And last but not least, when you do what you really love, motivation comes naturally.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
It is about the demand for the product and technology we have created from the big companies we adore and are really proud to have as clients. That we were accepted and successfully finished the best Accelerator in the world for B2B tech companies - Alchemist Accelerator. But the biggest achievement - running business with a Ukrainian team, and even during wartime delivering high results and accomplishing the goals.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Many times, one must go through uncertainty, especially when it is a startup. You can feel ups and downs every day. Sometimes it is hard to run a ship once it is a storm, but the good thing is that business owners get used to it. Keep stable growth in hard times with lots of uncertainty - it is an art!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Find your passion. I know it sounds so romantic, but it really helps to keep doing things once you love them. Because the second thing is it will not be easy, but very interesting, so be ready that not everything will be perfect from the very first day. Start as soon as possible; otherwise, you are just burning your energy and losing time doubting yourself.
