What's your business, and who are your customers?

Affiliate Moguls is a consulting business that specializes in hiring, training, and optimizing affiliate and email media buying programs for entrepreneurs who sell products online.

Tell us about yourself

I stumbled into the online marketing industry when I randomly found a job on It turns out it was the best thing that ever happened to me! I love coaching people on online marketing and seeing them succeed with the tips and tricks we give them.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment is seeing our clients succeed. One of our clients is learning affiliate management, with the ultimate goal of building her own affiliate management agency. We helped her find two clients in the first 45 days she was with us! She said working with us has been "life-changing." These types of compliments bring tears to my eyes.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

The hardest thing for me has been to drum up new business organically. So far, our business has been built solely on referrals. We've been blessed that this method has worked very well. However, with a recession looming, it's been more difficult to get full-time clients on board, so we've shifted our business model to be more flexible.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Anyone can check things off a to-do list. My biggest piece of advice is to watch the narrative that you build in your head every day. Is it negative? Is it positive? You are what you believe.
