Tell us about yourself

I'm a 3rd generation butcher that has been in the industry since 1996. My main motivation is to provide a high quality product that keeps consumers coming back!

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is not only maintaining our current clientele, but growing the customer base to levels that the shop hasn't seen, and putting Acme on the local map along side other high end businesses within the city and province.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

One of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner is the long hours and time spent away from family, especially at first, in order to keep everything running to a high level of standards.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

1. Work hard.

2. Be personable.

3. Don't give up if you are faced with adversity.
