What's your business, and who are your customers?
I hold a safe space for empathic souls to heal and release what has been holding you back from going to the next level, allowing you to take aligned steps forward, connected again to your heart and your purpose. From ancestorial healing to trauma healing, creating healthy boundaries in relationships, unpacking your innate spiritual gifts, and regaining the confidence & courage to use them in your everyday life. I often use music as a healing modality during our sessions, channeling healing through the keys. I call myself a Melody Medium because often when I am channeling a piano melody for a client, specific downloads will come through for you - sometimes you will receive verbal messages answering your questions, and sometimes the melody brings about healing on an energetic level, allowing you to express and release specific emotions during our session that you have been carrying.
Tell us about yourself
In my late teens, I became very sick and formed a severe corn allergy with an anaphylactic reaction. No matter how much I ate, I kept losing weight; I got down to 95 lbs. After years of searching, in 2017, I found answers through multiple healing modalities. My allergy had come about as a psychosomatic response to the trauma that I had been through. Upon healing from the root trauma, my severe allergy along with my asthma were healed, and I have no more allergies. I vowed to spend the rest of my professional life helping others through somatic healing of the mind, body, & soul.
During that same time, I was teaching music lessons full time. I had multiple students in the same week who came to me asking if we could do a life coaching session instead of a piano lesson. I felt this was the universe touching me on the back, saying there's something here; it was at that point that I went through a certification program to become a life coach.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Creating the life of my dreams. My online business has allowed my husband and me to move abroad to Paraguay, South America, where we have been living since 2019.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
This is definitely different from person to person. For me, it's setting healthy boundaries both in terms of my clients and also how much time I'm spending on my business. I LOVE what I do, and if I don't make a conscious effort, I am thinking about work stuff all the time. I now have brought in rhythms to help separate my work from my personal life so that I can maintain healthy boundaries. This makes all the difference!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- When you create a business, you end up having to put yourself out there. It really is a journey of loving and embracing yourself and becoming your own cheerleader. You are your brand, and your energy is going to reflect that in your marketing. If you're ready to become a more confident person and heal your relationship with yourself, one way is to start a business. It forces you to keep growing as an individual.
- Understanding that other people in your personal life may not always stand behind the choices you're making, they don't have your vision. Starting a business takes courage, and not everyone is comfortable with that, and they may reflect that when talking with you. Send their energy back to them in love and go forward.
- Collaboration is everything. I have grown so much through connecting with other life coaches and energy healers.
