What's your business, and who are your customers?

We host a live online cooking show teaching people how to live a healthy vibrant and delicious gluten free life, and we teach businesses how to provide for allergic customers. We love to teach, educate and encourage individuals and businesses to come taste and see how easy and delicious it is to be gluten free!

Tell us about yourself

I was born with a rare congenital heart defect and  I am the daughter of a restauranteur, growing up in the business I absolutely loved people and food, growing up with a heart defect and enduring  several open heart surgeries lead me to have to live differently than everyone else. Finding a love for food after several years of being sick and a brother who passes away at a young age from an auto immune disease drive me to want to help myself and others live a healthy, vibrant and delicious life style.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is being able to live a long and healthy life with my family and to help others do the same. I am passionate about helping the gluten free newbie and the guru live better longer healthier and vibrant. We are in the midst of building an app that is going to help others worldwide to do the same.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

The hardest thing about being a business owner is focusing on what best for your client, some restaurant owners are open to learning how to service allergic diners and the allergen community, just like some people are ready for change. You have to be listening to your client and their needs, not what you think they need.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Find your niche, fine tune it and listen for opportunities to share it.

Anything else you'd like to share?

Businesses don’t grow over night you have to cultivate  it through time, energy, prayer and hard work. If it’s a God given talent or desire he will open the doors for you to walk through to help others, build your business and help your business to shine.
