What's your business, and who are your customers?
AAA+ is a training, business mentoring, and coaching centre that I founded 15 years ago in Switzerland. AAA+ is a high Swiss quality level, a people-centered center providing tailor-made services with a personalized approach.
We accompany people and organizations towards success and fulfillment, with the ambition to contribute to a better world, bringing a sustainability orientation (environment, human management).
Tell us about yourself
I lost my mum in a horrible accident when I was five years old. I was able to survive on my own despite my terrible injuries. As a result of this interaction, I now firmly believe that a person's strength is greater than their consciousness. I also develop a strong love and respect for life. My second mother was an Italian immigrant who was born in 1914 and was married to a worker in the machine shop after that, and I was placed with a low-income host family. I struggled through primary school because of a string of illnesses brought on by a severely weakened immune system as a result of the numerous anesthetics I had.
I then completed a distinguished, multilingual, and bilingual university program (IUHEID Geneva). Because of these challenging studies, I have strengthened my capacity to step outside of my comfort zone and established a system for quickly gaining a suitable level of knowledge on a wide range of incredibly diverse subjects. It also gives me a keen awareness of the situation of the world and of humanity, as well as a strong desire to help make things better. Following my convictions, I began a career in communication at the UNDP (United Nations Development Programme).
In ten years, I accepted ever greater responsibilities as a result of my love of people and my desire to establish the best operations, which quickly propelled me to management and, finally, after having taken an interest in the way the world works on a scientific level, then on a geopolitical level, and then on the economic functioning of companies and teams in companies, I decided to focus mainly on the human aspect. I have obtained several diplomas (coach, NLP master practitioner, and Ericksonian hypnosis practitioner) and founded the firm AAA+ Coaching & Formations in 2008. I specialize in the functioning of the mind, its impact on personal development, performance, and the ability to achieve what inspires us, as well as the effects of this mind on health.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Deeply convinced that the human being is fundamental and that accomplished people contribute strongly not only to the success of their company(ies) but also to a better world, my biggest achievement is the foundation of AAA+ Coaching & Formation in 2007 and my career reorientation as a Coach, Trainer, and Business Mentor.
For years I have been helping people and organizations to flourish, to achieve what inspires them, to develop a richer life, and to make a positive difference, whether on a small or large scale. With extensive experience in recruiting high-level coaches thanks to the Coaching Saturdays I founded in 2009, I decided in 2021 to create "The Better World Team." This is my second biggest achievement. "The Better World Team" brings together Expert Coaches who are deeply committed to people and who want to contribute to a better world.

Trained in the art of presence by Eckhart Tolle, I also have a high level of experience in the corporate world (more than ten years of experience in multinational companies in managerial and executive positions). I reinforced this experience in 2002 with a certification from Lausanne on team dynamics in boards of directors and executive committees.
Moreover, certified by the University of California (Berkeley, USA) in neurosciences, positive psychology, and evolutionary biology around the theme of the science of happiness, I combine the skills of these two professional fields (mental - business) by acting on deepening awareness and accelerating talent development, while being fully qualified on the fundamental issues of the company (strategic-operational levels, internal-external policy).
I also hold a Master's degree in International Relations (IHEID, Geneva) and a diploma in Entrepreneurship and Business Development from the Executive Programme of the University of Geneva. I have always been fascinated by the functioning of systems and organizations and the search for their optimal functioning. With many years of experience in human and business development, including thousands of hours of coaching and business mentoring and hundreds of training and team facilitation interventions.
I am now firmly convinced that much more can be done to promote human fulfillment and the social and environmental contribution of companies while boosting their success. From my experience, I conclude that - although a top-down approach is essential, by strengthening corporate governance and the internal positioning of managers and leaders, as well as the efficiency of the company's operations, - A combination with a bottom-up approach (empowerment of employees on their own development and performance) ensures an even more comprehensive and sustainable success.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Being able to combine not only our core profession (coach, trainer, and business mentor for me) but also the ability to develop a strategic vision, marketing, sales & communication skills, as well as leadership, management, and recruitment skills. You have to be good enough at everything.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Being convinced and knowing what you want to contribute (bigger than yourself) in doing what you want to do.
- Being persistent and tenacious.
