What's your business, and who are your customers?

I run a marketing agency that provides a full range of marketing services, including branding, advertising, and content creation. Our primary clients are service-based businesses that need to attract local customers, as well as entrepreneurs looking to create valuable online content. We also enjoy working with restaurants to create visually appealing and appetizing content to attract new customers. Additionally, we have experience in the automotive industry.

Tell us about yourself

I have always been passionate about helping people, which is why I started my own business. When the pandemic hit, I saw an opportunity to utilize my marketing skills to support local businesses. I began working with a few clients in my network, and through word of mouth, my business grew to include a team of 15 individuals. We are dedicated to helping business owners succeed through online marketing efforts.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I am extremely proud of the agency I have built and never imagined it would grow to this extent. No one in my family has ever owned a business, so I am breaking new ground as a first-time entrepreneur.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

In 2022, our agency experienced an unprecedented level of growth that required me to adapt quickly. To keep the momentum going, I partnered with a friend to continue growing and improving the business. Today, we are a well-respected and established agency. Our team consistently expands as we welcome new members and clients every month.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Identify your target market: Before starting a business, it's important to have a clear understanding of who your target customers are and what they need. Conduct market research to identify unmet needs or underserved segments of the market that you can target with your products or services.
  2. Build a strong team: As your business grows, you will need a team of talented and reliable people to help you achieve your goals. Look for individuals who share your values, have relevant skills and experience, and are committed to your mission. Foster a positive and collaborative work culture to retain top talent and keep your team motivated.
  3. Leverage digital marketing: In today's digital age, it is crucial for businesses to have an online presence and utilize digital marketing strategies to reach and engage with their target audience. This can include tactics such as social media marketing, content marketing, email marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), and paid advertising. Digital marketing helps increase visibility, reach a wider audience, and drive qualified traffic to your website.
