What's your business, and who are your customers?
We are specialized in distributing Personal Protective Equipments (PPE) all over the world. The protection of workers and safety at work are our biggest concerns. Our personal protective equipment is designed to prevent and protect against the risk of light or fatal injuries, which can be numerous depending on your work environment. Our products have an excellent price/quality ratio compared to our main competitors. While respecting the various international safety standards, which guarantees a real quality of manufacture and efficiency of our safety equipment. Our customers are Distributors mainly in France and Africa. We are used to shipping our goods long distances, and our products meet the different requirements of many countries for safety standards.
Tell us about yourself
I used to be a Sales Manager at a Multinational company. I was covering half of the planet. Being a hunter and after five years of experience, I decided to create A3 SAFE.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment is to have a shoe model which a leader in Africa. We call it A3 KION. It has a nitrile sole with an excellent price/quality ratio.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Fighting every day with all types of issues (posting tenders on time, staff no show, goods delivery delays).
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
It will never be the right time to start. The right time is now. It won't be perfect, but you will correct it during the experience.
