What's your business, and who are your customers?
A Queen's Essentials Natural Skincare Products, where our mission is to Educate, Empower, Elevate, and Promote Skincare Wellness in Loving the Skin That You're In from the Inside Out. We cater to skin sensitivities and recurring skin conditions like eczema, acne, rosacea, and dermatitis. If you want to enhance your beauty the natural way, we've got you covered.
Tell us about yourself
I'm a Skincare Wellness Life Coach that encourages full-body mindfulness and self-love while maintaining your outer core in developing the power of habit with a daily stimulating skincare regimen. I come from a family of recurring skin conditions where nothing over the counter or shelves worked for our skin. As a Master Cosmetologist by trade, I was determined to go back to our natural roots in studying and healing our derma. I've also experienced medical scares, mentally and physically, that have totally shifted and transformed my lifestyle. As a result, my aspirations are to make an impact through testimonies and my Queen's lifestyle to overcome any obstacle.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment was to finally see my determining success as an entrepreneur and businesswoman by hitting my revenue goals. Also, blessings of recognition through magazine features and interviews while also achieving collaborations with other business partners.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Listen, being your own boss is amazing! The challenge is being in the hot seat where you have to make important tough decisions and sacrifices. You know, the tough calls that impact the success or failure of your business. It takes a Queen or a King to gain in money and prestige, but much to lose as well. Can you handle it???...... Yes. Is it worth it???? Every dang one penny it is!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Know who you are and where you would like to go.
- Understand the Risk and Rewards.
- Always balance business and family lifestyle.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
Never be afraid to seek help throughout your journey. It's never a sign of weakness but a promotion in elevation. There are so many resources needed along the way. Doing it alone is not an option. I'm here to encourage and get you through it. You have the audacity to shine, and your endurance is groundbreaking!
