What's your business, and who are your customers?
I'm an Instagram and newsletter marketing coach for Christian female entrepreneurs.
Tell us about yourself
I lost myself in the "second half" of life when my children left the nest and wanted to find a new purpose. I began blogging and writing, which led to social media promo, and I ultimately discovered an instinct for Instagram and newsletter marketing. I love helping women build communities of their own by welcoming them into mine. I teach them the importance of networking and casting a wide net to reach potential clients while furthering the Ultimate Message of the kingdom of Christ.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is launching my communities and witnessing student success! Their success is not only mine but the people they help. No matter the field, they're making a difference in lives, and the ripple effect continues!
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Launching!!! It is NOT my favorite. It's exhausting! Yet, I've discovered a method that works for me and find it exhilarating once it's done.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Hire a business coach or join a MentorMind. It would help if you had accountability and support to stay the course and put a fresh wind in your sails.
- Set your business up correctly and legally. If you're going to charge, stop messing around and jump in!
- Determine how long it takes for tasks, stick to those before adding more, and hire help as soon as possible!
