What's your business, and who are your customers?

My business is career and human resources consulting. I assist businesses with their human resources needs. I coach individuals in their job search.

Tell us about yourself

I have over 35 years of corporate human resources experience with major corporations, both domestic and international. I speak four languages and coach international executives who are relocated to the U.S. or people who have lost their positions as the result of a layoff. I started my business as a continuation of my corporate career at my own pace. I enjoy seeing the results of my efforts with small businesses and individuals looking to find new opportunities and reinvent their careers.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I have assisted many corporations with their human resources needs, setting up new companies with all the required materials. I have successfully coached hundreds of individuals who have been able to continue their careers after layoffs or international relocation.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Determining the needs of each company or individual and tailoring the program to meet those requirements.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Focus on what you enjoy doing.
  2. Build on your strengths-your proven successes.
  3. Choose quality over quantity; you can't do everything.
